Race Horse Reclaim Thoroughbred Rescue is located in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas. The farm is ten rolling tree-studded acres with a large pond that the horses love to play in during the warm summer monthes. Facilities include two large barns with stabling, several run-in sheds, and a lighted training arena. With a spectacular view of Music Mountain, the farm is a peaceful place for the horses to recover from the trials of the racetrack and begin a new life.
Holistic Care and Classical Training
Horses entering our program are given the time needed to aclimate to a non-stressful, natural way of life. They are conditioned with whole grain, fine grass hays, and freedom in lush pastures. Re-training begins with ground work utilizing natural horsemanship techniques. Under saddle the horse is introduced to classical dressage training and when suitable jumping and cross-country work. Horses with soundness issues qualify as companion animals and are worked with to that goal.
